Type your letters in Letters. They appear as tiles round the wheel. Tap Shuffle in the centre to scatter them again whenever you want a fresh look.
Tap a tile to drop it into the next empty slot. To fill a particular position, tap an empty slot first, then a tile. Tap a filled slot to send its letter back to the wheel. Clear returns every letter that isn't locked.
Enter the answer's word lengths, as in a crossword clue: 4,5 for two words, 3-4 for a hyphenated answer. Leave it blank for a single word. The slots group to match, and you'll see a warning if the pattern doesn't add up to your letters.
For clues like "X without Y", type the letters to take away. The count shows what's left, and you'll be told if a letter isn't there to remove.
Know a letter from a crossing answer? Place it, turn on Lock, and tap that slot. A dot marks it as locked. Locked letters stay put when you clear, and Answers only lists words that fit them. Tap again with Lock on to unlock.
Moves vowels to an inner ring and consonants to the outer one, which makes syllables easier to spot.
Fill every slot and tap Check to see whether each word is in the word list (about 111,000 British English words, no proper nouns). Stuck? Answers asks you to confirm, then lists every match, up to 300. Tap one to try it in the slots.
Settings has the colour themes, tile font, tile size, and sound and vibration (vibration works on Android only). Recent keeps your last 15 letter sets. Tap one to reload it. Everything is saved on this device only.
